Lezlie Delos Santos-Pableo started her journey with lenses 20 years ago, but it wasn’t any ordinary journey.  Arming herself with a camera was about more than angles and snaps; peering through lenses was a way of not just printing photos, but unraveling the stories behind them — behind every shot lies an untold truth waiting to be discovered and deciphered.

Although primarily related to the media, her work spans various interests — from simply capturing daily life to global current events. Lezlie's overarching passion is photographing humanitarian causes.

Currently working for a leading United Arab Emirates English-language newspaper, The National, prior to this Khaleej Times and volunteering for United Nations World Food Programme, the world’s largest humanitarian organization addressing hunger and promoting food security. She has also done a range of photo shoots for private clients. Her work has taken her to many countries around the world and she managed the photo department for one of the biggest cruise companies in the US. Lezlie has had the good fortune to travel extensively and capture a host of real-life situations— in some circumstances is one of a privileged few — first-hand and uncensored.
